Vacancy – Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef

£20,000 p.a

We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen at The Star Inn 1744.
We are a fast growing Gastro Pub located in the Beautiful Leicestershire Village of Thrussington (LE7 4UH)

The Job Role:
The right candidate will be given a high level of responsibility and will work closely with the Head Chef & Sous Chef.
We are a very busy Gastro Pub serving over 400 covers per week from our varied Menu selection – Traditional and Modern Classics Menu, A-La-Carte Menu and Traditional Sunday Lunch Menu.

This is a very busy Gastro Pub so you must be able to hit the floor running

We are looking for someone who has a passion for food and wants to develop and progress as a skilled chef.
Candidates must have previous 1 or 2 years experience in a similar role and be used to using fresh locally sourced produce.
You will be required to work closely with the Head Chef & Sous Chef so you must be an all round team player and be able to manage your own section.

  • £20,000 per annum
  • 28 Days Holiday per year

  • Minimum of 1 or 2 years experience in a similar position using fresh produce

  • MUST have own Transport due to location – Thrussington, Leicestershire LE7 4UH
  • Must be eligible to work in UK
  • Salary: £20,000.00 /year
